10th grade male student was brutally beaten by his friend right in the classroom

On September 13, two videos were circulated on social media, recording a scene where a male student was repeatedly punched and beaten in the face and body by his classmates, accompanied by verbal abuse. The clip was said to have been filmed at Hoang Dieu Secondary and High School, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi.

According to the clip, a male student was sitting in class when another male student repeatedly hit, punched, and kicked him in the face and stomach, along with swearing at him. The male student also went to the next table, picked up his school bag, and threw it at his friend.

The beaten male student did not fight back but just endured each beating.

Some students in the class stood up to stop the violence, but it did not stop. Meanwhile, some other students laughed and cheered on the male student who was beating his friend. The beaten male student did not fight back but could only endure the brutal beating from his classmate.

The clip posted has made the public very indignant, leaving many comments. Most opinions believe that those who commit this violent act need to be severely punished. Why is this kind of violence allowed to happen right in school? The school board needs to severely punish to set an example. Speaking to the press, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Lan, Principal of Hoang Dieu Secondary and High School, said the above incident happened during the break after the first period on September 12. The male student who beat his friend is named H., the male student who was beaten is named D., both are students of class 10A2.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thuy Loan, immediately after receiving the information, the school invited the students and parents involved to report and resolve the matter. The two families met and reconciled, and H. apologized to D.

On September 13, the school gave two students a temporary leave of absence. Of these, D. was absent to ensure his health. H. had to write a self-criticism and pledge not to repeat the offense.

Currently, the school is coordinating with the police to clarify the incident after the clip was posted on social networks.
