Improve capacity for legal reporters and propagandists

On the morning of May 7, the Department of Justice coordinated with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to organize a training conference: Improving the capacity of legal reporters and propagandists in the province.

The leader of the Department of Justice delivered the opening speech at the conference.

Attending the conference were leaders of the Department of Justice; Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Justice and 50 trainees who are reporters and propagandists of 7 districts including: Cam Khe, Thanh Thuy, Ha Hoa, Thanh Son, Tan Son, Tam Nong, Yen Lap.

At the training conference, the trainees were provided with the following contents by the lecturers: Skills to organize training in a positive, learner-centered manner; some skills to disseminate and educate the law directly; oral propaganda; presentation skills; application of information technology in propaganda and education activities in the locality; practice applying the knowledge and skills learned to propagate and educate the law for specific subjects.

In his opening speech, the leader of the Department of Justice emphasized: Implementing the Law on Dissemination of Legal Information, in recent years, the Department of Justice has advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue many documents directing departments, branches and localities to seriously implement the Law on Dissemination of Legal Information to ensure consistency, synchronization, focus and key points, associated with the functions and tasks of agencies and units. It is recommended that trainees participating in the training fully grasp the spirit and content of the lecture, thereby improving their skills in performing legal dissemination work, professional expertise, proactively advising on the implementation of legal dissemination work tasks within their management scope, contributing to making this work increasingly effective, helping people to correctly and fully understand and properly implement the provisions of the law.

As planned, the training conference will take place over 2 days (May 7-8) within the framework of the Project “Strengthening Law and Justice in Vietnam” funded by the European Union EU and the United Nations Development Program. The second class will be jointly organized by the Department of Justice and will open on May 9, training reporters and legal propagandists in the remaining districts, cities and towns.
