The Hanoi Autumn photo exhibition by photographer Huynh My Thuan opened at the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association on September 13.

The exhibition introduces 100 typical photos out of more than 5,000 photos he took during 11 visits to the capital Hanoi.

He said the first time he took photos of Hanoi was when he participated in the cultural journey "From Hanoi to Nghe An - Uncle Ho's homeland" in 2007.

“It is an indescribable feeling when for the first time in my life I set foot in the capital Hanoi, visited Uncle Ho's mausoleum and toured Hanoi to the scenic spots in the Northwest.

Every time I come to Hanoi, I have a different feeling because the weather in the capital changes hourly from early morning to sunset, day by day, and season by season. In particular, autumn in Hanoi is considered the most beautiful time of the year" - photographer Huynh My Thuan said.

Coming to the Hanoi Autumn photo exhibition, viewers can feel the passionate atmosphere of autumn with ancient architectural works over 1,000 years old, famous landscapes of the capital...

Photographer Huynh My Thuan has spent more than 30 years traveling across the country to create photographs.

He has organized many photo exhibitions such as: Saigon Spring , at the Ho Chi Minh City General Science Library in 2021; Spring in Ho Chi Minh City at the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association, On the land of memories at the Pottery Garden of Binh Duong province (now Ho Chi Minh City).

Mr. Doan Hoai Trung - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association - shared that although he was not born and raised in the capital Hanoi, the author has captured impressive moments of the capital's autumn. On this occasion, photographer Huynh My Thuan auctioned his paintings to raise funds to help those in difficult circumstances.
