During the 4 training sessions for the forces participating in the parade and marching at the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (mission A80), many modern military equipment in the Vietnam People's Army continued to appear with new paint colors.

XCB-01 is a modern weapon system, integrating technology from more than 30 military engineering specialties, capable of attacking and destroying important enemy targets. The crew consists of a commander, driver, and gunner. The vehicle can carry 8 infantry.

This is a product designed and manufactured by the General Department of Defense Industry of Vietnam. The vehicle weighs about 15 tons, with an overall size larger than the BMP-1 model produced by the Soviet Union. XCB-01 is equipped with a 73 mm main gun with 40 rounds, a 7.62 mm PTK parallel machine gun with 2,000 rounds, and a 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine gun on the roof of the turret with 200 rounds.

The vehicle has a maximum speed of up to 65 km/h, swimming speed of 7 km/h with a 300 horsepower engine; can climb slopes of 30 degrees, overcome many different terrains. XCB-01 is equipped with B72 anti-tank missiles integrated on a fixed launcher on the vehicle's main gun. With a sloped armor design on the front hemisphere, the vehicle can withstand most standard or heavy direct-fire bullets. In addition, XCB-01 also has a laser detection and warning system synchronized with a smoke launcher on the turret. When detecting a target lock, the vehicle immediately turns the gun barrel towards the target to release bullets, creating a smoke screen to camouflage against lasers and infrared, helping to hide and quickly get out of the danger zone.

XTC-02 is a wheeled armored vehicle researched and manufactured by the General Department of Defense Industry.

The vehicle is equipped with a 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine gun and a 7.62 mm heavy machine gun; the crew consists of 3 people and 9 soldiers.
