On the evening of September 18, the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The ceremony took place in a solemn, warm and friendly atmosphere, with the participation of Mr. Farshad Moghimi, Deputy Minister of Industry, Trade and Mines of Iran; Mr. Ali Akbar Nazari, Director General of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran; 60 ambassadors and about 300 guests from ministries, sectors, businesses, scholars, Iranian press, Iran-Vietnam Friendship Association and the Vietnamese community in Iran.
At the beginning of the ceremony, delegates watched films about the 80-year journey of fighting for independence, peace and national development, and the joy of all Vietnamese people on Independence Day September 2, 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, after reviewing the historical journey from 1945 to 2025 with proud achievements, Ambassador Nguyen Luong Ngoc emphasized that as a nation that has experienced countless pains due to war, Vietnam deeply understands the value of peace, so it earnestly wishes to contribute its best to preserve that peace so that the world can develop and prosper together.
The Ambassador emphasized that from the bottom of their hearts, the State and all people of Vietnam will forever remember and be grateful for the great, valuable and sincere support and assistance of international friends, progressive forces and peace-loving people around the world across the five continents over the past 80 years.

Deputy Minister Farshad Moghimi sent warm congratulations to the State and people of Vietnam on the occasion of the 80th National Day, highly appreciated the great achievements that Vietnam has made in the cause of national construction and protection, and expressed his belief that Vietnam will continue to rise strongly, soon realizing the goal of becoming a modern industrialized country with high income.
Mr. Farshad Moghimi believes that the good friendship between Iran and Vietnam will continue to develop, especially in fields such as industry, trade, energy, tourism and people-to-people exchange, etc., for the benefit of the people of the two countries, for peace and common prosperity.

The ceremony ended in a friendly atmosphere, leaving a deep impression on international friends about a peaceful, stable, dynamically developing Vietnam, growing strongly and having an increasingly high position and role in the region and the world.
