Fishing vessels are installed with devices to monitor journeys, register, obtain fishing licenses, and register fishing vessel identification". Mr. Ngo Van Chau, a fisherman residing in Ha Tien ward, said: "Working at sea is not without danger, but we are always confident because we have the Border Guard force with us. Along with propaganda work, the provincial Border Guard has stepped up patrolling and controlling. Focusing on checking, controlling and verifying people, vehicles and equipment on board when fishermen complete entry and exit procedures; ensuring that fishing boat owners have all the necessary procedures, documents and equipment according to new regulations to handle entry and exit.
