At the program, ILO experts presented an overview of greenhouse gases and current Vietnamese legal regulations on compliance with measures to limit greenhouse gas emissions. Detailed analysis of how to calculate emissions from factories, implementation practices in enterprises and specific classification processes.
Trainees were also introduced to the roadmap for implementing reports to build effective and appropriate emission reduction plans; practical experience in implementing inventory at ViTaNa LLC (Giang Dien Industrial Park) of Dong Nai .

The workshop also provided time for businesses and experts to exchange experiences and solutions to effectively carry out inventory tasks, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions; affirming the commitment to accompany businesses on the journey of green transformation, emission reduction and environmental protection.
According to DOWA leaders, green and environmentally friendly development is an inevitable trend in manufacturing industries today. In particular, wood is a promising industry in Dong Nai as well as in Vietnam. In the coming time, Dowa will continue to coordinate with domestic and foreign organizations and units to find solutions for businesses to move towards the goal of sustainable production and build a brand for the industry.
