And every full moon of the 11th lunar month, she takes care of his death anniversary in two places: at his family's house on Nguyen Trai Street, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City and at his burial place.

Meritorious Artist Minh Phung passed away at the age of 63 due to complications of many diseases such as heart failure, kidney failure...

On November 29, 2008, a large number of fans came to the funeral, standing on both sides of the road leading to his house, to line up to burn incense and bid farewell to the artist who was given the stage name "Prince of the Stage" by the audience.
