On February 22, Hoang Liet Ward Police (Hoang Mai District, Hanoi ) received a report from residents about a person being doused in gasoline and burned at Thao Den Beer Shop (address 1381 Giai Phong Street).

At 2:00 p.m., Nguyen Van Hoan (born in 1959, Hoang Liet ward, Hoang Mai district) was a motorbike taxi driver and was at the underground water station when he discovered his wife PTN (born in 1971, selling tea at the underground water station) and Mr. Ta Van H. (born in 1969, Hoang Liet ward, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi) walking out from the direction of the motel. At this time, when Hoan called, Mr. H. ran away.

Hoan went to buy gasoline to get revenge. Not knowing where Mr. H. lived, Hoan rode his motorbike around looking for him and saw him drinking beer with his friends at Thao Den beer house.

Leaving his motorbike outside the shop, Hoan went in and poured gasoline on Mr. H's head. After committing the crime, Hoan left the scene.

Police were present to protect the scene and take Mr. H. to the emergency room.

Hoan and Mr. H. had a long-standing conflict because they suspected that his wife and Mr. H. were having an affair.

The police are consolidating witness statements, extracting camera footage, examining the scene, and consolidating documents to handle Hoan according to the law.
