Immediately stop selling and using 5 cosmetics nationwide

The Drug Administration of Vietnam has just announced the suspension of circulation and nationwide recall of 5 cosmetic products with formulas that are not consistent with the published records.

According to the Drug Administration Department ( Ministry of Health ), 5 cosmetics in circulation with formulas not consistent with the published records were recalled, including:

Slightly Dark Beauty Essence (Registration Number: 118458/20/CBMP-QLD).

Eijun beauty essence (reception number of announcement 118461/20/CBMP-QLD).

Element repair essence (registration number: 118463/20/CBMP-QLD).

Licorice extract solution (registration number: 118469/20/CBMP-QLD).

Beauty skin repair mask (Reception number of Declaration Form 118470/20/CBMP-QLD).

The above 5 products are from BSSC Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Group Company Limited (business address in Long Bien District, Hanoi City).

The Drug Administration Department has suspended the circulation and recalled nationwide 5 cosmetics with formulas that are not consistent with the published records.

The Drug Administration Department requires BSSC Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Group Company Limited to notify the places distributing and using the above 5 products of the recall; receive returned products from business establishments and proceed to recall and destroy 5 products that do not meet regulations.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam requests the Hanoi Department of Health to supervise BSSC Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Group Company Limited in recalling 5 products that do not meet the above regulations; report the supervision results to the Drug Administration of Vietnam before September 10, 2025.

The Department of Health of provinces and cities is requested to notify relevant units to immediately stop trading and using the above 5 products in the area and return them to the product suppliers; handle violators according to current regulations.

Previously, the Ministry of Health issued an official dispatch requesting provinces and cities to regularly conduct post-inspections on cosmetic products in circulation on the market, through sampling and testing, and strictly handle violations.
