On the afternoon of October 21, Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) awarded the Jackpot 1 prize of the Power 6/55 lottery product which took place in the 1,249th drawing of the Power 6/55 lottery on the evening of September 30.

In the 1,249th drawing with the Power 6/55 lottery product, Vietlott's Drawing Council found 1 winning lottery ticket for Jackpot 1 worth 179,058,846,000 VND (more than 179 billion VND).

The lucky lottery ticket that won the jackpot prize of more than 179 billion VND contains the number sequence 17-23-34-39-46-52.

Vietlott informed that the owner of this Jackpot 1 prize is Mr. NVH Anh H, a teacher, currently living in Da Nang .

Mr. H bought the lucky lottery ticket above at a Vietlott point of sale in An Hai ward, Da Nang city.

Previously, Mr. H won many small prizes from Vietlott.

Talking about his plans for the prize money, Mr. H said he has a reasonable spending plan in the future.

According to regulations, Mr. H is obliged to pay personal income tax at the place of ticket issuance in Da Nang with a value of more than 17.9 billion VND (10% of the value exceeding 10 million VND) and is deducted immediately upon receiving the prize. Thus, the amount that Mr. H receives is more than 161 billion VND.

At the award ceremony, Mr. H donated 2.5 billion VND from his prize to Tam Tai Viet Fund to carry out social security activities.

A man won the Vietlott jackpot worth nearly 37 billion VND. His whole family lost sleep all night after hearing the good news.
