Journalist Nguyen Van Binh was appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Capital Labor Newspaper.

According to Decision No. 698/QD-LĐLĐ of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Confederation announced at the Conference, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Confederation decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Van Binh - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Capital Labor Newspaper to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Capital Labor Newspaper under the Hanoi City Labor Confederation from August 21, 2024 with a term of 5 years.

Mr. Nguyen Van Binh was born in 1975 in Hanoi. He has the following qualifications: College of Procuracy, Bachelor of Law, Master of Political Science, Senior in Political Theory and has been trained and fostered in many other specialties and professions such as: Journalism, improving knowledge of State management of journalism, political specialist rank...

During his work, Mr. Nguyen Van Binh has constantly strived and trained himself in terms of ideology, political qualities, lifestyle ethics, professional expertise... and has matured through many different positions: From an officer of the Procuracy, Mr. Binh has strived to become Deputy Head of the Legal Education and Dissemination Department of the Hanoi Department of Justice and has worked for 8 years as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Law and Society Newspaper before working at the Capital Labor Newspaper.

On behalf of the leaders of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Pham Quang Thanh presented the Decision, presented flowers and congratulated Mr. Nguyen Van Binh on taking on the new responsibility.

According to Chairman of the City Labor Federation Pham Quang Thanh, Mr. Nguyen Van Binh has worked for many years and has demonstrated solid qualifications and experience in press management. Although his time working at the Capital Labor Newspaper is not long, Mr. Binh has made important contributions to the development of the newspaper.

Commenting that the Capital Labor Newspaper, like many other press agencies, is facing many difficulties and challenges, especially in press planning and fierce information competition, Chairman of the City Labor Federation Pham Quang Thanh believes and hopes that Mr. Nguyen Van Binh will continue to promote his leadership capacity, and together with the Editorial Board of the Capital Labor Newspaper, will constantly innovate the content, form and spread of the newspaper, thereby increasingly enhancing the role, position and brand of the Capital Labor Newspaper.

In his acceptance speech, the new Editor-in-Chief of the Capital Labor Newspaper, Nguyen Van Binh, respectfully thanked the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation for entrusting him with this honorable and important task. At the same time, he thanked the Editorial Board, staff, reporters, and employees of the Capital Labor Newspaper for their trust and support, especially his predecessor, Le Thi Bich Ngoc, who has spent 10 years building and bringing the newspaper to a new level.

New Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Van Binh affirmed that he will continue to maintain his political stance, train his moral qualities and personal capacity, and work with the editorial board, reporters and staff of the Capital Labor Newspaper to unite and strive to make the Capital Labor Newspaper increasingly meet the information content requirements, in accordance with the direction of the Central Government, Hanoi City, and the City Labor Federation, especially to properly implement the newspaper's principles and purposes of the trade union organization, the forum of workers, civil servants and laborers in the Capital.
