The Prime Minister decided to extend the term of office of Deputy Minister of National Defense according to regulations for Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission.
Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien was born in 1961, his hometown is Hung Yen province. He was appointed Deputy Minister of National Defense in July 2020.

Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San was born in 1961 and is from Ninh Binh province. He was appointed Deputy Minister of National Defense in July 2020.
The Prime Minister decided to reappoint Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam, member of the Party Central Committee and member of the Central Military Commission, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of National Defense.
Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam was born in 1967 and is from Gia Lai province. He was appointed Deputy Minister of National Defense in July 2020.
