However, many cultural institutions have not yet received synchronous investment, and there is a lack of community connection between ethnic groups, leading to people not being interested. On October 15, the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to inform cadres, party members and people in the province to continue to allocate resources to invest in improving the quality of existing urban areas and residential areas associated with each village and neighborhood with entertainment spots and outdoor community activity spaces to serve the people. This is truly a joy for cadres, party members and people in the whole province in general and Luong Minh commune in particular. In the spirit of the Provincial Party Committee's orientation, I, as well as cadres and party members in the commune, will propagate and mobilize people to donate land to renovate, upgrade and expand inter-village roads, densely populated areas, creating favorable conditions for people to travel conveniently and safely. At the same time, we will propagate and mobilize people to raise awareness and responsibility in environmental protection, not littering, contributing to improving the quality of urban areas in rural areas and improving the quality of life. |
![]() Secretary of the Youth Union of Luc Hon commune Dinh Ngoc Trang: "Practical, meaningful, improving the spiritual life of people, especially children in mountainous areas and ethnic minority areas" With the pioneering spirit of the youth, in the coming time, the Commune Youth Union will coordinate to mobilize and propagate union members and youth of the commune to deeply understand the policy and plan to improve the quality of existing urban areas and residential areas associated with ensuring that each village and neighborhood has a playground and outdoor living space to serve the people, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people, especially children in mountainous areas and ethnic minority areas. With the pioneering spirit of youth, the Commune Youth Union coordinated with departments, branches and organizations to review, select and propose, mobilize social resources to build suitable playgrounds in the locality. Youth also took the lead in maintaining, protecting and organizing recreational activities and summer activities for children, creating a healthy space, contributing to spreading love and community responsibility. Luc Hon Commune Youth are determined to concretize the policy with practical actions, affirming the pioneering role of youth in developing cultural life in residential areas, together building an increasingly rich and civilized homeland. |
![]() Mr. Vu Dinh Chuong, Head of the Front Working Committee of Vinh Hoa area, Mao Khe ward: "The motivation for localities to proactively review and plan for investment in essential infrastructure" Vinh Hoa Quarter currently has nearly 3,000 households, making it one of the most densely populated areas in the ward. However, due to the long-standing and unsynchronized investment in the water supply and drainage system, every time there is heavy rain, the main road of the quarter is often deeply flooded, causing difficulties in travel and daily activities and posing a potential safety risk to residents, especially the elderly and children. When the province issued a policy to invest in urgent projects to completely handle flooding in urban areas and densely populated areas, I found this to be a very correct, timely and popular policy. The policy not only demonstrates the province's close attention to people's lives, but also motivates localities to proactively review and plan essential infrastructure investments, ensuring a safe and civilized living environment for the people. What is more encouraging is that right after the province's major orientation, Mao Khe ward authorities quickly reviewed and made plans to renovate and upgrade frequently flooded roads, including Vinh Hoa neighborhood. People in the neighborhood are very excited and confident that when the project is implemented, the flooding situation will be completely resolved, making the neighborhood's appearance more and more spacious and clean. |
![]() Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan, Cam Trung 5A quarter, Cam Pha ward: "Hopefully there will soon be a meaningful community living space, associated with the spiritual life of the people" When the province implemented the policy of building existing urban and residential areas in a civilized and modern direction, associated with the goal of each village and neighborhood having at least one playground and outdoor community activity space, I completely agreed and supported this correct and practical policy. In reality, the need for entertainment, communication, and physical exercise of the people is very large. In my neighborhood, many elderly people, teenagers and children all want to have a spacious space for activities, exercise, and communication. However, currently the neighborhood does not have any real public entertainment place. The neighborhood cultural house was built in 2017, with an area of nearly 200m², and is the only place to organize common activities, but due to the narrow indoor space and lack of playgrounds, it has not met the living needs of the majority of people. In my opinion, to overcome the lack of public space, we first need to review the surplus land for headquarters after implementing the two-tier government model, along with the vacant land currently managed by the locality, to take advantage of serving the community. If properly planned and renovated, these lands can become practical public living spaces, meeting the needs of people for entertainment, exercise, and communication. Along with that, it is necessary to invest in solid ground, drainage systems, lighting, planting trees and reasonably arranging parking areas, sports fields, and outdoor community activities. To do this, it is necessary to have the cooperation and consensus of the government and people in finding suitable locations, contributing their efforts and resources to soon turn the policy into reality. |
![]() Ms. Nguyen Thi Van, Hung Thang 3 area, Bai Chay ward: "Solving infrastructure problems and opening up opportunities for synchronous development for localities" As a key area for tourism and services in the province, Bai Chay ward annually welcomes a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and relax. At peak times, the number of vehicles increases dramatically, causing many roads in the area to frequently fall into a state of overload and local congestion, especially in areas bordering residential areas and tourist areas. This not only causes inconvenience to people's daily lives, but also affects the image and quality of tourism services of the ward. The province's focus on investing, renovating, and upgrading traffic infrastructure, drainage and public spaces in urban areas is a very correct policy, both solving existing infrastructure problems and opening up opportunities for synchronous and sustainable development for Bai Chay ward in the future. I hope that during the implementation process, the locality will carefully calculate, prioritize the renovation of roads that are often congested and flooded, maximize road width, build a system of sidewalks, turning points and reasonable parking lots, ensuring convenience for residents as well as tourists. Investment in lighting systems, trees, and synchronous urban landscapes also needs attention, so that Bai Chay is not only modern and civilized but also greener, cleaner, more beautiful and friendlier. I and certainly the people in the ward are ready to accompany the government, from donating land, contributing efforts, to maintaining hygiene and landscape, joining hands to build a spacious neighborhood and a healthy living environment. |
![]() Mr. Pham Van Nguyen, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Ha Trung 4 area, Ha Lam ward: " Focus on investing in many outdoor entertainment spots" Ha Lam Ward currently does not have an outdoor playground with spacious space, synchronous facilities, and full equipment to serve the people, youth, and children in the area. Meanwhile, the neighborhood cultural house currently only meets the needs of conferences, training sessions, and meetings. I am very pleased to know that the province has set a goal that each village and neighborhood in the province has at least one playground and outdoor community space, meeting the needs of exchange, physical exercise, and entertainment for all ages, contributing to building a cohesive and healthy community. Implementing the goal of repositioning the Ha Lam urban development strategy in the overall regional structure towards modernity, greenness and sustainability with the starting point of renovating the existing urban space, Ha Lam ward is attracting investment in building kindergartens, Ha Trung market, Cao Thang market and Than Nui Beo social housing fund. At the same time, implementing many urban infrastructure upgrade projects such as: Parking lots, resettlement areas, flood treatment... I hope the ward will pay attention to investing in many outdoor entertainment spots in the area, not only building civilized, modern and unique urban and residential areas, but also improving the quality of life, ensuring sustainable development, taking better care of the material and spiritual life of the people. |
![]() Mr. Pham Van Huan, Deputy Head of Tam Thinh Ward, Tien Yen Commune: "People are willing to support local policies and donate land to build embankments and drainage culverts." The riverbank area of residential group 7, Tam Thinh street, Tien Yen commune, has been severely eroded in recent times, threatening the safety of about 80 households living nearby. The riverbed terrain changes erratically, with many rocky outcrops and complex deep creeks appearing. In just 2 years, floods have washed away hundreds of cubic meters of soil, damaged a drainage culvert and encroached on about 20 meters of riverbank. When there is a storm or heavy rain, people are extremely worried and confused. The local government has paid attention to researching solutions, many households have relocated to ensure safety. With the plan to improve the quality of urban areas and residential areas issued by the province, which focuses on thoroughly handling flooded and low-lying areas, I fully support it. People are willing to donate land in this riverside area to build embankments to protect the riverbank and drainage culverts, ensuring water drainage, helping people stabilize their lives in the long term. |
