Strange and interesting frost phenomenon has appeared on many high mountain peaks in Cao Bang, Yen Bai and Lao Cai provinces.

Early this morning (January 12), at the top of Phja Oac ( Cao Bang ) at 1,931m high, Lao Than peak (Lao Cai) at 2,826m high, the temperature has dropped below 0 degrees Celsius, accompanied by high humidity, frost and light drizzle. This causes the treetops, ground and rocks in the area to be covered with a thin layer of ice and snow, creating a beautiful scene. According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the Northwest region in the next few days, the weather will be very cold.
