15 million VND reward for composing songs and poems 'Vietnam in the era of rising up'

The Literature - Arts - Music Department (VOV3), Voice of Vietnam has just launched a campaign to compose songs, folk songs with new lyrics and poems with the theme of Vietnam in the era of rising up.

The campaign encourages professional and non-professional authors in the country, overseas Vietnamese and international friends to compose works praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the country, the people and the achievements of innovation. The works can be in many art forms: Pop, Rock, Rap, Dance, Indie songs, folk songs from different regions with new lyrics or contemporary poetry.

People's Artist Nguyen Van Chuong - Head of VOV3, Head of the Organizing Committee said: "We hope the campaign will inspire creativity, spread patriotism, national pride and the image of a confident, prosperous Vietnam in the era of rising up."

The Organizing Committee will accept entries from now until November 25, 2025. The closing and award ceremony is scheduled to take place on December 5, 2025 at the Voice of Vietnam Theater.

The award structure includes 3 categories: Song, Folk song with new lyrics and Poetry, with a total of more than 40 awards, the highest value of 15 million VND/First prize. The Organizing Committee will select outstanding works to widely introduce on radio and media.

Composing a song to arouse the loyal and close relationship between Vietnam and Cuba , Associate Professor, Doctor of Musician Do Hong Quan believes that, in addition to material support, art is a priceless treasure to contribute to fostering solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba.
