Many activities to celebrate Vietnam Theatre Day - Theatre Founder's Death Anniversary

(CTO) - On October 3, Can Tho City Theater Association solemnly held a meeting to celebrate Vietnam Theater Day - Theater Founder's Death Anniversary (August 12th lunar calendar).

Many artists and artisans in Can Tho City attended the meeting, sharing their love and passion for the theater industry. This is also an opportunity for young artists and artisans to exchange and learn professional experiences from previous artists and artisans, joining hands to develop the city's theater arts. According to the leader of the Can Tho City Theater Association, in the near future, the Association will open a camp to compose vọng cổ songs; organize a vọng cổ song contest with the theme "Can Tho City learns and follows the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh "; organize field trips to compose songs, programs to introduce authors and works, print books to promote works, etc.

On this occasion, 10 artists, authors, and directors of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association in Can Tho City were awarded the Medal for the Cause of Vietnam Stage Artists by the Vietnam Stage Artists Association. 5 artists, musicians, and authors were admitted to the Vietnam Stage Artists Association. The Can Tho City Stage Artists Association also admitted 4 new members.

To celebrate Vietnam Stage Day - the Anniversary of the Stage Ancestors this year, many public and private art units, Cultural, Sports and Broadcasting Centers of communes and wards, private homes of artists and artisans... in the city solemnly held incense offerings to the Ancestors, vowing to improve their profession and ethics, and serve the audience better.
