Accordingly, at the entrance to the North-South Expressway in the area near Viet Trung Farm, Quang Tri Province, there are two signs, one to guide traffic participants to turn North and one to guide traffic participants to turn South. It is worth mentioning that both of these signs are identical, both stating the entrance to the Bung - Van Ninh Expressway (500m away). Many traffic participants reported that they were very confused or got lost when participating in traffic due to these signs.

The two signs pointing North and South are the same at the entrance to the North-South Expressway through Quang Tri province, causing confusion for many people.

According to the reporter's observation, many drivers when participating in traffic when reaching this point often hesitate, some temporarily stop their cars nearby to get out of their cars to wait and ask passersby. Many traffic participants said they did not know where Bung or Van Ninh was, whether to go in or out... Some people when participating in traffic when reaching the highway entrance here got lost.

Accordingly, if the driver makes a wrong turn to the North, he or she must travel more than 10km to the next drop-off point in Nam Trach commune, then turn around for a total of nearly 25km to return to the starting point. Conversely, if the driver makes a wrong turn to the South, he or she must travel more than 20km to the next drop-off point at the intersection between the Bung - Van Ninh and Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressways, and more than 40km to return to the starting point.

It is recommended that Project Management Board 6 ( Ministry of Construction ), the investor of the Bung - Van Ninh expressway project, promptly coordinate with the local authorities of Quang Tri province to re-examine the signage system in this area to consider and propose a suitable solution.
