Many gifts to support children in difficult circumstances

BAC NINH - On the morning of September 25, at Chu Van An High School (Chu ward), the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children and the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Bac Ninh province organized the program "Wings of Dreams" to give computers and gifts to students in difficult circumstances in the province.

Attending the program were comrade Ngo Sach Thuc, former Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Association for Relief of Disabled Children; leaders of the Association for Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Bac Ninh province; sponsors, teachers and students of the school.

The organizers gave gifts to students in difficult circumstances who excelled in their studies.

At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 laptops, 30 gifts including candy, school bags, notebooks and 10 scholarships (VND 1 million/scholarship) to students with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies. The total value of the gifts is VND 105 million. All funding was provided by the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, the Provincial Association for the Protection of Disabled People and Orphans in connection with other organizations and benefactors.

Comrade Ngo Sach Thuc gave computers to students.

Speaking at the program, comrade Ngo Sach Thuc emphasized: The work of caring for disabled children, orphans and children in difficult circumstances has always received special attention from the Party, the State and the whole society through many specific and long-term support policies and programs. Over the past years, in performing its assigned functions and tasks, the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children has implemented many practical activities such as: Supporting learning equipment; awarding scholarships; career guidance, vocational training; treatment, health check-ups, screening and free surgery for children in special circumstances.

The gifts given at the program are not only a material sharing but also a valuable source of spiritual encouragement, adding confidence and determination to the students on their journey of learning, training and growing up. Thereby, contributing to supporting students in accessing knowledge, mastering technology in the digital age; at the same time contributing to the goal of ensuring social security and improving the quality of education .
