Recently, in Malaysia, about 6,000 students were infected with the flu, forcing some schools to temporarily close to ensure the safety of students and teachers.
Malaysia's Education Minister Mohd Azam Ahmad said schools have been reminded to strictly follow anti-epidemic guidelines, including wearing masks and limiting mass gatherings.
Over the past week, the flu epidemic has continued to spread nationwide, especially in schools and kindergartens, raising concerns about the risk of infection in educational environments.

Malaysia has implemented many measures to prevent the flu epidemic, while preparing for the SPM exam (national exam for grade 11 students), equivalent to grade 12 in Vietnam, scheduled to start on November 3.
Not only Malaysia, Japan has also recorded a sharp increase in flu epidemics in recent weeks.
On October 3, Japanese health authorities officially declared a nationwide flu epidemic. More than 6,000 cases in just a few weeks have forced many schools and kindergartens here to temporarily close. The number of schools closed is now three times higher than the same time last year.
Health experts warn that the risk of flu spreading in schools is very high, especially in preschools - where many young children with weak immune systems gather. If the epidemic continues to develop complicatedly, disruption of learning is inevitable.
