On October 15, the Ministry of Education and Training issued a warning, stating that rumors of dissolving non-public educational institutions are completely false, fabricated, distorted, causing information disruption, negatively affecting the psychology of people, parents, students as well as the activities of educational institutions.

The Ministry of Education and Training has transferred information about the accounts posting false information about the incident to competent authorities for consideration and handling in accordance with the law.

"People are requested not to share or spread false information, and to follow the official information channels of the Ministry of Education and Training," the Ministry's announcement added.

It is known that at the end of September, social networks also spread information that a number of universities would merge to form a cluster of universities in the North.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, this unit was assigned by the Government to develop a project to rearrange and reorganize the university education system and is still coordinating with relevant agencies to research and evaluate the current situation before reporting the plan for the Government to consider and decide.

“The information circulating about the current plan to reorganize and rearrange higher education institutions is incorrect and not provided by the Ministry of Education and Training. We request that people do not spread this information,” the Ministry of Education and Training warned.
