TPO - After 2 years of construction, the North-South Expressway through Ha Tinh, more than 102km long, is nearly completed in many locations. The only bridges over the lake on the route are rushing to complete the final stages, in time for handover in April 2025.

TPO - After 2 years of construction, the North-South Expressway through Ha Tinh, more than 102km long, is nearly completed in many locations. The only bridges over the lake on the route are rushing to complete the final stages, in time for handover in April 2025.

The North-South Eastern Expressway Project for the 2021-2025 period is being implemented in Ha Tinh with a total length of more than 102km. After 2 years of construction, the project is now nearly completed to ensure handover in April 2025.

The Vung Ang - Bung component project is more than 55km long (12.9km through Ha Tinh, more than 42km through Quang Binh ), with a total investment of more than 12,500 billion VND. The project started construction on January 1, 2023 with 33 bridges. Of which, there are two bridges over Kim Son reservoir (Ky Hoa commune, Ky Anh district, capacity of 17.5 million m3 of water).

Mr. Dao Van Cuong - Commander of Construction Joint Stock Company 368 said: "Bridge No. 2 and 3 over Kim Son Lake has a total length of 1km, with a total investment of more than 260 billion VND. The project started in June 2023 and the bridge deck concrete will be completed in 15 days. The construction over the lake caused the contractor to face many difficulties in terms of terrain and weather conditions."

The bridge piers over the lake are 30-40m high, with sturdy Super T girders.

The project implementation unit is paving the final layers of asphalt concrete to complete the lake overpass.

The railing system and hard divider are installed. Workers are working hard on the construction site.

“The weather at the end of the year has been rainy and humid, so the asphalt paving of the bridge deck has to wait for a sunny day. Workers are installing railings, median strips and bridge deck joints,” said a representative of the construction unit. In the picture are overpasses with dozens of spans, each pier is 30-40m high, and the Super T girders are sturdy.

When completed, the lake overpass project will create a majestic scene for the highway through Ha Tinh.

After 2 years of construction, the North-South Expressway through Ha Tinh, more than 102km long, is nearly completed in many locations. Project implementing units are taking advantage of favorable weather conditions to accelerate progress in the final stage, aiming for handover in April 2025.
