M4U group performs unprecedented challenge on VTV channel

In the memories of many Vietnamese music fans of the 8X or early 9X generation, M4U is a familiar name. M4U was founded in 2007 with 5 members, Minh Vuong as the leader. By the end of 2009, the group was active with 4 members: Minh Vuong, Manh Ninh, Manh Duy and new member Hong Duong.

The group is widely known to audiences through songs such as: Silent Rain, Student Flowers, Songs for You , or a series of hits in collaboration with Thuy Chi such as: Rain, Bicycles, The End of the Road ... In 2011, M4U suddenly disbanded when they were at the peak of their career, group leader Minh Vuong started his solo career from then on and often sang theme songs for VTV primetime movies, the most recent of which was Rainbow on the Horizon.

Coming to 5 Star Hotel this week, M4U has only 3 members left. In the program, they review the golden time as well as the most difficult period.

Leader Minh Vuong shared the story of the group's founding. The first version of M4U had 4 members from 4 different majors but shared a common love of music . They were Duy Vu, Manh Duy, Minh Vuong and Viet Phuong. Later, Dinh Manh Ninh and Hong Duong joined the group. M4U is an abbreviation of the 3 English words "MUSIC FOR YOU". The group came together from friendship and love of music.

In the show 5 Star Hotel, M4U members performed live the famous song Silent Rain and participated in the show's games, including the push-up challenge right on the studio.

In addition to the 3 M4U members, 5 Star Hotel invited a special female face, Mai Tron - who has been with M4U since its inception. She also had the opportunity to perform the M4U song Xe Bip in the program.

The 5-star hotel also brought many surprise gifts to the group, including images of M4U's performances through the camera angles of fans, which made the members very emotional. From these images, they recalled memories of the group's "peak" period of performing.

Another special gift brought to M4U is the violin of Duy - who has been with the group since the early days in all of their MVs and music products. Along with that, the head of M4U's FC and fans were invited to the studio to sing the song Rain - the group's first hit and brought along many photos associated with M4U.
