Westlife announced their return to Vietnam, fans excited

On the evening of September 19, on their official fanpage, the band Westlife excited Vietnamese fans when they posted a poster announcing the upcoming concert at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC).

The show is part of the group's "The Wild Dreams Tour", which will take place next November.

Westlife shared: "Vietnam! We are so excited to be back on the "Wild Dreams" tour on November 22. Tickets go on sale from September 26. Don't miss out!".

The news that the Irish boy band is returning to Vietnam immediately received a warm response from the audience. Just after 2 hours of posting, the post received nearly 25,000 interactions and more than 8,000 comments.

Many Vietnamese fans expressed their excitement through comments: "My childhood love is coming to Vietnam again", "I can't believe this is true, I will definitely go see it", "Waiting to buy tickets to go see it"...

Westlife first came to Vietnam in 2011 during the "Westlife Gravity Tour" at My Dinh Stadium ( Hanoi ).

In 2014, singer Shane Filan - the group's lead vocalist - came to Ho Chi Minh City to perform in the program "You & me tour live in Saigon".

In 2017, Shane Filan once again returned to Vietnam to perform at the music night "Love Always" in Ho Chi Minh City.

Westlife was formed in 1998, consisting of 5 members: Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Brian McFadden.

In the 2000s, Westlife was one of the world's top boy bands with many hits such as My Love, Fool Again, I Lay My Love On You...

In October 2018, Westlife reunited with 4 members after 6 years of disbandment, Brian did not participate.
