
Disneyland: 20 Years of Magic
In 2025, Hong Kong Disneyland celebrates its 20th anniversary with a year-long program.
Guests will enjoy a new show at the castle with Mickey and his friends, admire the largest “Friendtastic” parade ever with 11 colorful floats and experience an upgraded version of the night show with spectacular projection effects and a unique drone dance.
Character meet-and-greet activities and festive decorations throughout the park also promise fun for all ages.
Ocean Park: From pandas to aquariums
Along with Disneyland, Ocean Park is a familiar destination with its combination of adventure games, beautiful landscapes and rich flora and fauna.
Visitors can meet giant pandas and explore the aquarium with hundreds of exotic marine creatures. This year's highlight is the six pandas, including the one-year-old twins Jia Jia and De De, who bring a unique appeal to the park.
Kai Tak Sports Park: A New Icon
Opening in April 2025, Kai Tak Sports Park will become Hong Kong's newest international sports and entertainment center, including a 50,000-seat main stadium, an indoor sports center, a public stadium, and a bustling food and shopping area.
Hong Kong is also known for its many festivals and cultural activities that take place throughout the year. Travel blogger Lee Cheng-kei, who has experience traveling to more than 40 countries and territories, commented after a recent trip: “Hong Kong is a place where you can find vibrant modernity, unique natural landscapes, year-round festivals and quiet, peaceful moments.”
According to information from the Hong Kong Tourism Board, from January to July 2025, Hong Kong welcomed more than 39,000 Vietnamese visitors, an increase of 46.6% over the same period last year. Ms. Liew Chian Jia, Regional Director of Southeast Asia, Hong Kong Tourism Board, shared: “Through our tailored marketing campaigns and immersive travel experiences, we hope to inspire more Vietnamese tourists to explore the vibrant and culturally diverse Hong Kong.” |
