The comment was made by Mr. Thang as a representative of the AI Awards 2025 Jury at the Awards Ceremony on September 26.
AI Awards is an award organized by VnExpress annually since 2022, within the framework of the Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Festival (AI4VN). Over three seasons, the program has honored many AI solutions applied in education , healthcare, public services and commerce.
This year, the award expanded its scope to four main categories: Vietnamese AI Solution; Outstanding AI Device; Vietnamese AI Engineer and Outstanding AI Enterprise.
Eligible entries will go through preliminary, voting, judging and final rounds. A panel of judges comprising technology experts, business representatives, journalists and investors will score each product based on its creativity, applicability, implementation effectiveness and social impact.
According to the organizers, the AI Awards 2025 continues to affirm the spirit of vibrant, serious and creative scientific research in the community and businesses. In particular, the number of nominations in the categories has doubled compared to 2024, reflecting the strong development picture of AI in Vietnam.
"The technological level that this year's candidates bring to the competition is very even, showing that our technological accessibility is very good compared to the world level," Mr. Phung Viet Thang commented on hundreds of applications for the AI Awards 2025.
According to him, many products are very well presented right from the initial thinking, closely linked to very practical requirements of life. The problems go deep into the daily needs of businesses such as management and finance.
