Farmers invent a plow that makes the fields 5 times faster than by hand, and the whole village in Binh Dinh is impressed.

Mr. Tien's inventions and improvements to agricultural machines have been effectively applied, contributing to liberating human labor and many times winning high prizes at the "Farmer's Creativity" contest organized by the Farmers' Association of Binh Dinh province.

Born a fisherman, Mr. Tien has a passion for inventing agricultural machines and wants to help people reduce hardship in agricultural production.

Mr. Tien has researched and improved to create a number of devices used in peanut production, which have been effectively applied by many people.

Specifically, he has successfully researched and improved the multi-purpose peanut grooving machine.

From the Chinese-made 1-row peanut planting machine, he manufactured some additional parts and equipment to improve it into a 2-row peanut planting machine.

Mr. Huynh Tien, the farmer who invented the ridge plow, is operating the machine in a peanut and onion field in Tan Thanh village, Cat Hai commune, Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh province.

The 2-row peanut seeding machine that Mr. Tien researched and improved has helped farmers in the area plant beans twice as fast as the 1-row seeding machine and three times faster than manual seeding before.

The peanut seeding machine improved by Mr. Tien sows seeds more evenly and the germination rate is also higher.

With the improved equipment installed on the peanut seeding machine, Mr. Huynh Tien, Tan Thanh village, Cat Hai commune, Phu Cat district participated and won second prize at the "Farmer's Creativity" contest in 2022 organized by the Farmers' Association of Binh Dinh province.

With the effectiveness of the multi-purpose bean plucker, many people inside and outside the commune have ordered the peanut plucker to use and have high trust.

Mr. Dong Thanh Gioi, a farmer in Tan Thanh village, Cat Hai commune, Phu Cat district (Binh Dinh province) commented: "My family grows more than 5 sao of peanuts. Because we are old and have poor health, we ordered a 2-row peanut planting machine made by Mr. Tien.

Since having the machine, my family's peanut planting has become much easier. I can plant all the peanut acreage of my family by myself without having to hire workers like before. And planting the beans is also faster, the beans grow evenly and more beautifully."

Previously, Mr. Tien also researched and successfully manufactured a furrow plow.

From a small gasoline engine tiller, he created a set of wheels, a plow blade, and a lever used to make ridges and prepare soil for growing peanuts and onions.

With this ridge plow, soil preparation is not only 5 times faster than manual work, but the depth and distance between ridges are also more even thanks to the plow blade adjustment and the machine's leveling system.

And with this improved device, he participated and won first prize in the 2016 "Farmer Creativity" contest organized by the Farmers' Association of Binh Dinh province.

With the advantages of the machine, many people in Cat Hai commune and neighboring localities have ordered his production and are using it effectively.

In addition, Mr. Tien also researched and manufactured many other devices to support people in agricultural production.

The most typical is making a sitting pole to harvest peanuts and pull onions. With the characteristics of bean and onion fields in Cat Hai, they are planted in rows, with grooves between the rows for walking.

From that reality, he created a four-wheeled platform that runs along the beds to help people more conveniently care for and harvest agricultural products, limiting direct contact with the plants.

And on the seat there is a design for an umbrella or sunshade. The person sitting on the seat only needs to use their feet to push the ground to create momentum to move forward or backward as desired.

With the advantages of being easy to make, cheap but very useful, almost every house in Cat Hai commune has 1 to 2 poles to use in agricultural production.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tien, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Cat Hai Commune (Phu Cat District, Binh Dinh Province) said: "The machines and equipment invented by Mr. Tien are all highly practical and bring about practical efficiency in local agricultural production.

The agricultural machines and equipment invented, manufactured and improved by Mr. Tien not only reduce labor and save production costs, but also help people shorten production time and ensure seasonal availability.

Not satisfied with what he has done, Mr. Tien is currently researching and preparing to launch an improved peanut shelling machine.

The improved peanut shelling machine that Mr. Tien is inventing will help shell beans cleanly and quickly while still keeping the bean stalk intact for livestock farming.

And with his agricultural machine inventions, Mr. Huynh Tien has been awarded many Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee and Farmers' Associations at all levels, and is trusted and loved by farmers.
