At the end of the 2024-2025 school year, the Party Cell of Vo Nhai High School solemnly held a Party admission ceremony for 5 outstanding members who are 12th grade students, including: Le Thi Nhu Quynh, Hoang Le Thai Uyen, Pham Viet Hoan, all from class 12A1; Hoang Le Khuyen, class 12A2 and Duong Kieu Anh, class 12A3.
These are excellent members with high achievements in studying, exemplary in all fields, active in Youth Union work, extracurricular activities, revolutionary ideals, perseverance, constantly training and striving to be in the ranks of the Party.
The Party Cell of Vo Nhai High School organized the Party admission ceremony solemnly and seriously, which contributed to actively educating revolutionary traditions and Party traditions, spreading and encouraging many students of the school to actively study well, have the awareness to practice and strive to join the Party. In the past two years, Vo Nhai High School has had 8 students admitted to the Party.
According to the Party Committee of Vo Nhai Commune, in recent times, developing student party members has been a policy that the former Vo Nhai District Party Committee and the Party Committee of Vo Nhai Commune have paid special attention to in order to create more youthfulness in the party members. These party members continue to study at university, have many ambitions and aspirations to establish themselves, build a career, and contribute to the Party and the locality.
The Party Committee of Viet Bac High School under the Party Committee of Phan Dinh Phung Ward (Thai Nguyen) - the place that nurtures and teaches ethnic minority students from Quang Tri province and beyond, admitted 42 students to the Party in the 2023-2024 school year, and 39 students to the Party in the 2024-2025 school year. These are all exemplary, outstanding students who study and train well, have ideals, and have been monitored, nurtured, and strived to become Party members for a long time.
Comrade Luc Thuy Hang, Party Secretary and Principal of Viet Bac High School for the Ethnic Minorities, said: “Students admitted to the Party are all trained by teachers and Party cells. They themselves constantly study well, excel in school and class, and nurture the will to strive to become Party members from grades 10 and 11. They all pass the university entrance exam of their first choice. Every year, the school invites a number of students to come back to the school to exchange, inspire, and spread the spirit of striving to join the Party among the school's students.”
In the 2020-2025 term, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee issued the Project "Improving the quality of grassroots party organizations and party members, period 2021-2025", focusing on creating sources, training, and recruiting party members who are students, workers, and intellectuals. The Provincial Party Committee organized a thematic conference to assess the current situation and discuss solutions, requiring Party committees at all levels and organizations to pay real attention, attach importance, and assign specific tasks to develop the Party among workers, students, and pupils.
Therefore, the work of developing Party members not only improves in quantity but also in quality, focusing on young, knowledgeable forces, contributing to increasing the strength of grassroots party organizations. In the period of 2021-2024, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee admitted 1,404 party members who are students, accounting for nearly 12% of newly admitted party members; 1,629 party members who are workers (accounting for 13.63%); 6,097 party members with university degrees (accounting for 51.03%).
Currently, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee has nearly 139,000 party members, operating in 96 party committees under the Provincial Party Committee. The Resolution of the 1st Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, sets the goal of admitting new party members annually at a rate of 3% or more compared to the number of party members at the beginning of the term.
Based on the new shift from attaching importance to Party development among students in recent years, in this term, Party committees at all levels in the province continue to promote the achieved results and practical experiences to increase the recruitment of Party members among students. Thereby, contributing to the formation of a new generation of Party members with knowledge, enthusiasm, revolutionary ideals, strengthening the fighting strength and youthfulness of the Party in general and the Provincial Party Committee in particular.
