ENCOURAGE THE PEOPLE
Many years ago, Phu Tam village, Phu Trung commune, Phu Rieng district did not have a cultural house and had to borrow people's houses to organize meetings, collective activities as well as spring and New Year celebrations. However, this year, the village has a cultural house with an area of 200 square meters , built on a land area of more than 2 sao, voluntarily donated by the people. This is one of the most spacious and spacious village cultural houses in the province.
Many high-rise Thai-roofed houses in Phuoc Tin commune, Phuoc Long town have sprung up close together thanks to the growing local economy .
There was a pioneer who donated more than 2 sao of land to build a cultural house, so the mobilization of land, crops, and architectural works to clear the ground for rural roads in Phu Trung became much easier. The proof is that the inter-commune road of Phu Trung connecting with Phuoc Tan commune, Phu Rieng district, 12.5 km long, was previously just a small, narrow path, but now it has been widened to 20 m, of which the asphalt surface is 6 m wide. The road expansion affects 175 households, but through propaganda and mobilization, it has received the consensus and support of the people. People have donated nearly 11 hectares of land along with crops and architectural works worth about 1.5 billion VND. Mr. Dao Van Dung's family in Phu Tien village alone donated more than 3 sao of land to expand the road.

When the State had a policy of upgrading and expanding the road, especially the new route was 8km shorter than the old route, the people all agreed to donate land and cut down trees to clear the ground for the contractor. Thanks to that, thousands of people inside and outside the district now travel on the spacious and clean road, creating momentum to promote local socio-economic development.
Striving to reach the advanced NTM target, Binh Tan commune received more than 18 billion VND from Phu Rieng district to repair and upgrade rural traffic routes, of which 10 billion VND was invested in the model residential area of Phuoc Thinh village to upgrade and expand 3 roads from 4m to 9m. The traffic routes were paved spaciously, the management board of the villages and mass organizations mobilized people to install street lights and plant flowers on both sides of the road, reaching 95%.
Rural traffic routes in Binh Tan commune, Phu Rieng district are all equipped with street lights and flowers are planted on both sides of the road, creating a highlight for the rural areas.
In the period of 2021-2025, Phu Rieng district has invested in building 10 cement concrete bridges, more than 341km of roads of all kinds with a total cost of more than 1,620 billion VND. Mobilizing 2,476 households to donate land for site clearance at 17 traffic construction projects with 2,817 plots/179.35 hectares of recovered area. Vice Chairman of Phu Rieng District People's Committee Le Van Chung shared: "Most of the roads in the area were cleared by land donated by the people. Since then, the transportation system has been built, expanded, connected, village to village, commune to commune, Phu Rieng connects with other districts and towns in the province. Thereby, ensuring travel for people, creating favorable conditions for socio-economic development."
CHANGING THE FACE OF RURAL AREAS
Phuoc Tin, Phuoc Long town is one of the first two communes in Binh Phuoc province to be selected for investment to reach the model new rural area target in 2024. This is a condition and premise for the Party Committee, government and people of the whole commune to continue to improve infrastructure and many other important targets and criteria. From there, it contributes to improving people's lives as well as bringing the position and appearance of the locality to a new level, especially in economic thinking.
The establishment of the Cooperative brings many practical benefits to both the members of the Cooperative as well as the society. That is, the State invests in building a smooth traffic system, bringing electricity to the garden to create momentum and promote production development. In addition to sharing experiences in planting, caring for, and finding output for products, the most successful thing for the Cooperative is to research and study the prevention of pests and diseases with high efficiency, especially creating a reputation for quality. In addition to the area of durian trees planted and harvested, the Bau Nghe Fruit Cooperative is currently tending to expand its scale. To complete the criteria for the form of production organization and rural economic development in building the new rural area, it can be affirmed that Bau Nghe Fruit Cooperative, Phuoc Tin commune is promoting innovative thinking very effectively. Established in October 2017 on the basis of shares of 11 members, an area of 100 hectares of various fruit trees, most of which are durian, up to now, after 7 years of establishment, Bau Nghe Fruit Cooperative has attracted 47 members to plant 244 hectares of various types of durian. The Cooperative's durian is grown and cared for according to VietGAP standards and has been granted a growing area code by the General Department of Customs of China in 2022 with 200 hectares for 31 members and 44 hectares in 2023 for 16 members. After harvest, durian is carefully packaged and exported to the Chinese market. On average, each hectare of durian (from the 7th year onwards) yields 15-20 tons.

The economy has developed remarkably, the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved, many high-rise buildings with Thai roofs in residential areas in Phuoc Tin have sprung up close together. Along with that, rural infrastructure such as electricity, roads, schools, stations, cultural facilities, etc. have been invested in and built synchronously and modernly. In particular, currently Phuoc Tin has no poor households, the average income in 2024 will reach 98 million VND/person. This is an important basis and premise for Phuoc Tin to reach the model new rural area in 2024.
The new rural construction is bringing a new vitality to Binh Phuoc homeland. Another spring has come, the spring colors are radiant, spreading to every road, every house, every street corner... Happy new spring, the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Phuoc are determined to build their homeland to be more and more prosperous, civilized, and together with the whole country, enter the era of national development.
