On the morning of September 2, at the historic Ba Dinh Square, more than 2,000 artists and extras created a special art performance, Vietnamese Spirit , lasting about 12 minutes, encapsulating the historical journey, indomitable spirit and aspiration for independence of the nation.
In particular, the special harmony performance gathered about 80 typical artists of the cultural and sports sector from the 3 regions of North - Central - South. This performance is a mashup including many songs praising the Party, Uncle Ho, praising the Fatherland, expressing the aspiration for a strong and prosperous Vietnam in the future...

The artists participating in the performance include veteran faces such as: People's Artist Quoc Hung (Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music), Meritorious Artist Phuong Nga, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, singer Tung Duong... The performance also has the participation of famous singers from the South such as singer My Tam, and talented young artists such as: Hoa Minzy, Phuong My Chi, Anh Tu, Erik, Duc Phuc, Double2T...
After the event, Meritorious Artist Phuong Nga could not hide her emotion and pride when talking about the performance that she and her colleagues had prepared.
"A medley of 2 songs, Vietnam, Oh! Let's Step Towards Glory and Bright Vietnam Prosperity , performed by many singers. The combination of voices from many regions has created a colorful musical picture, both imbued with regional identity and expressing the spirit of solidarity of the whole nation," the female artist shared.

She added: “This event is a vivid picture of the solidarity of the Vietnamese people. We, the artists, along with actors, athletes, beauty queens… have contributed together to create a memorable performance, expressing national pride and deep gratitude.”
Meritorious Artist Phuong Nga also shared more about the difficult but also joyful training process.
“We have overcome many difficulties together, regardless of rain or shine, practicing diligently. There were practice sessions that lasted from 12pm to 10pm. Everyone was very tired, but everyone understood that this was a sacred mission. The flame of enthusiasm and dedication never went out. We are not only performing, but also contributing a small part to telling the heroic story of the nation,” she confided.

Besides, the female Doctor of Music - singer could not hide her emotion when standing on stage, right in front of Uncle Ho's Mausoleum. The female artist said: "When standing at Ba Dinh Square, I felt an extremely sacred feeling. The feeling at that time was really hard to describe: both emotional and proud. In the vast and solemn space, I felt so small but also so honored to be standing where Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence."
She believes that this moment will stay with her forever. "For me, it is an honor to sing and contribute at a place of such great historical significance. The event is an important milestone for the country, I feel lucky to be able to live and contribute in this historic moment."
Meritorious Artist Phuong Nga is known as one of the leading soprano artists of the opera chamber genre of the same generation as artists including: Trong Tan, Anh Tho, Lan Anh...
She won first prize in the first season of Sao Mai contest (2001) with the song Shadow of Kơ-nia tree by musician Phan Huynh Dieu, lyrics by Ngoc Anh.
Currently, she is Deputy Head of Vocal Department, Vietnam National Academy of Music.
