On the afternoon of October 23, at the Military Command of Ninh Thuan province, the Military - Police - Border Guard forces of Ninh Thuan province held a meeting for the third quarter of 2024 on the implementation of Decree No. 03/2019/ND-CP of the Government on coordination in performing the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, fighting against crimes and national defense tasks.

In the third quarter, the Military - Police - Border Guard forces have done a good job of advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to concretize tasks and solutions to effectively implement the Directives and Resolutions of the Party and the State on national defense and security. Notably, they advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to successfully organize civil defense drills to respond to forest fires in Bac Ai district and fire prevention and fighting drills in the province; effectively coordinated the implementation of the tasks of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, fighting against crime and national defense tasks; organized and reviewed plans and schemes to ensure the safety of key targets, projects, and important political events.

In the coming time, the Military - Police - Border Guard forces will continue to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of coordination, assessment and forecast of relevant world, regional and domestic situations affecting national security interests, territorial sovereignty of the Fatherland and the work of ensuring security, order and social safety, especially the sabotage activities of hostile and reactionary forces; improve the effectiveness of staff work, resolve social conflicts, especially those related to ethnic, religious, land and environmental issues... to prevent complicated incidents from arising, forming "hot spots" of security and order, creating a safe environment for socio-economic development in the locality; promote the core and vanguard role on the front of natural disaster and epidemic prevention, rescue and relief; actively participate in ensuring social security, people's security, and comprehensive recovery and development of all aspects of social life. Maintain strict combat readiness, coordinate reconnaissance, detection and handling of ultra-light aircraft; proactively develop a plan to deploy coordination and cooperation among forces to ensure absolute safety for targets, key projects, and important events of the province and the country.
