Mr. Donald Trump declared that America needs to "heal" and will end all international crises. What is his plan with North Korea?

On July 18, Mr. Donald Trump officially accepted the nomination as the Republican Party's candidate to run for President of the United States in November and gave an important speech.

After receiving the nomination, former US President Donald Trump began his speech to "reshape the presidential race his way", closing the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which lasted from July 15-18.

In his first speech since surviving a gun assassination attempt while campaigning in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, Mr. Trump emphasized that he is running to become "president for all of America, not for half of America, because there is no victory for only half."

NBC News reported that, referring to the recent assassination attempt, the Republican candidate said that mentioning this incident was too painful, and affirmed that the lack of cooperation and division within the United States needed to be "healed".

He also reiterated his goal of completing the border wall between the US and Mexico, while continuing to assert there is an immigrant "invasion".

Regarding the economic issue, the 45th boss of the White House made it clear that if re-elected, he will end regulations on electric vehicles on the first day of his term, and will not allow the construction of auto factories in Mexico and China to bring jobs to the American people.

He pledged to immediately end the inflation crisis and cut interest rates, while stressing that the centerpiece of his economic rescue plan would be a strong tax cut for workers.

According to AFP news agency, billionaire Donald Trump also pledged to end all global crises, including the conflict in Ukraine, and bring peace and stability to the world if elected US President next November.

"Under our leadership, America will be respected again. No nation, no enemy, will doubt our strength. Our borders will be absolutely secure. Our economy will soar. We will return law and order to our streets, patriotism to our schools, and importantly, we will restore peace, stability, and harmony all around the world ," he said.

Referring to North Korea, the former US President revealed his plan to "get along" with the President of the Northeast Asian nation Kim Jong-Un if he returns to the White House, sharing: "I get along very well with him, he wants to see me again. I think he misses me too."

This is the third time Mr. Trump has accepted the Republican nomination to run for US President after similar efforts in 2016 and 2020. According to observers, Mr. Trump's speech has been adjusted to be gentler, less critical of the Democratic Party and more focused on uniting the country.

Previously, at the meeting on July 17, Ohio Senator JD Vance also officially accepted the nomination to be Donald Trump's running mate in this year's US presidential election.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. JD Vance gave an introductory speech with two main messages.

One is to honor former President Donald Trump. This is not just a normal thank you, but also to fulfill the goal of this Convention to highlight the human side of the former President. Two is to promote the spirit of “MAGA” (make America great again), emphasizing that Mr. Trump’s economic policies will serve the working class in battleground states, especially Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan.
