Mr. Ho Duc Phoc holds the position of Deputy Prime Minister

On August 26, at the 8th extraordinary session, the 15th National Assembly carried out the process of approving the Prime Minister's proposal on the appointment of Deputy Prime Ministers for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Ho Duc Phoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Finance , and delegate of the 15th National Assembly was introduced to the National Assembly for approval to hold the position of Deputy Prime Minister.

The National Assembly approved the proposal to appoint a Deputy Prime Minister by secret ballot. The resolution approving Mr. Ho Duc Phoc to hold the position of Deputy Prime Minister for the 2021-2026 term has just been passed by the National Assembly with 432/432 delegates voting in favor (accounting for 89.81% of the total number of National Assembly delegates).

Mr. Ho Duc Phoc was born in 1963; Hometown: Quynh Thach Commune, Quynh Luu District, Nghe An Province; is a member of the Party Central Committee, terms XII and XIII; National Assembly Delegate, terms XIV and XV.

Having worked for a long time in Nghe An province, he held the positions of: Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Lo town; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Nghe An province. After that, he held the positions of State Auditor General, then Minister of Finance.
