Agree to allow a National Assembly Committee Chairman to resign at his personal request

(Dan Tri) - The National Assembly Standing Committee agreed to allow Mr. Le Quang Huy, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, to take leave from October 1 according to his personal wishes.

The Office of the National Assembly has just issued a press release on personnel work. On the afternoon of September 29, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly held a conference to review and decide on personnel work.

Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee agreed to allow Mr. Le Quang Huy, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the Science , Technology and Environment Committee of the 15th National Assembly, to take leave from work from October 1 according to his personal wishes.

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the National Assembly and relevant legal provisions, and based on the opinions of competent authorities, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly assigns Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan to take charge of, direct and operate the activities of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment until this position is completed.

The National Assembly Standing Committee also passed a Resolution on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Le Quang Manh, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Economic and Financial Committee of the National Assembly, to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Office.

Mr. Manh was also assigned to direct and manage the activities of the National Assembly Office, performing the duties of Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office until the position of Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office is completed.

Along with that, the National Assembly Standing Committee issued a Resolution on the transfer and approval of Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Delegation Affairs of the 15th National Assembly.
