Dak Lak has overcome many difficulties and challenges, gradually developed steadily, and achieved quite comprehensive achievements and results. The main targets of the 2020 - 2025 term have been basically stable, maintaining the growth rate and shifting the economic structure at the right level, increasing the size of the economy 1.75 times compared to the beginning of the term.

The Standing Committee of the 14th Congress Document Subcommittee assessed that the agricultural sector has made remarkable progress, contributing many products for export. Many modern technologies have been put into production, forming a chain from production to consumption with great and positive contributions from the business community and farming households.

A typical example is the Buon Ma Thuot coffee brand that is developing strongly in the direction of specialty coffee to realize the goal of Dak Lak becoming the destination of world coffee. The Phu Yen lobster brand (old) and many other products are also continuing to develop.

In addition, Dak Lak province maintains good friendly and cooperative relations with the Kingdom of Cambodia, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly and developed border between the two countries.

The political security situation and social order and safety of Dak Lak province are stable. Military and defense tasks are effectively carried out, national defense and security positions are built, and defense zones are increasingly strong. Many types of crimes are promptly fought, prevented, and reduced.

Dak Lak needs to become a new growth region

The Standing Committee of the 14th Congress Document Subcommittee said that Dak Lak needs to make a breakthrough in infrastructure management, science, technology, human resources, and the potential advantages of the two localities to become a new growth area of ​​the Central Highlands and South Central Coast.

Dak Lak is one of the localities with many potentials and outstanding advantages in terms of economy, culture and society. Dak Lak has important strategies in terms of national defense and security, has conditions to develop an open economy, international integration, is a gateway on the East-West corridor, has fertile forests, deep-water seaports, long coastlines, and a very large special economic territorial waters.
