Quang Ngai Provincial Party Secretary appointed Deputy Head of Central Organization Committee

Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van, Secretary of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, was mobilized, assigned and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee.

At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Hoang Dang Quang announced the Politburo's decision to allow Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee to cease participating in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; at the same time, she was transferred, assigned, and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung emphasized that the appointment is to strengthen and supplement the leadership of the Central Organizing Committee in the context that the Party's strategic advisory agencies are focusing on the tasks for the upcoming Central Conferences and towards the 14th National Party Congress. At the same time, it will create a source of cadres for the Committee in the short and long term.

Mr. Le Minh Hung also said that the Politburo had reached a high consensus on the transfer, assignment and appointment of Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van. Ms. Van is a cadre with basic training, growing up from the grassroots, attached to Quang Ngai province, and is assessed by the Politburo as a capable cadre, experienced in Party building work, with scientific thinking and working methods, and prestigious in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee...

According to Mr. Le Minh Hung, the appointment of Ms. Van is not only the assessment, recognition and trust of the Politburo in Ms. Van personally, but also has the meaning of increasing the participation of female leaders, holding key leadership positions in strategic advisory bodies of the Party and the Central Committee.

In her acceptance speech, Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van expressed her thanks to the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Party and State leaders for their attention, trust, and assignment of the task. Ms. Van expressed her wish to continue receiving the attention, support, and assistance of the Central Organizing Committee's leaders, and the assistance, coordination, and sharing of the Committee's collective to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van (51 years old, from Quang Ngai province); master's degree in literary theory. Ms. Van is a member of the 12th Party Central Committee (alternate) and a member of the 13th Party Central Committee.

Ms. Van held the position of Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee from August 2020 to June 2025. After Quang Ngai merged with Kon Tum, last July, Ms. Van was again appointed by the Politburo as Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee (new) for the 2020-2025 term.
