“Similarly, there will be additional provisions for non-monetary tariffs and trade barriers that some countries use to keep our goods out of their markets, or keep American businesses out,” Mr. Trump added.

According to Mr. Trump, the above statements are “fair for all” and no country can complain.

In some cases, if a country feels the US is imposing too high a tariff on them, all they need to do is reduce or end their tariffs on the US.

In addition, Mr. Trump emphasized that there will be no tariffs if countries produce or manufacture products in the US.

“The United States has supported many countries over the years with large financial subsidies. Now it is time for countries to remember that and treat the United States fairly,” Mr. Trump said.
