Da Nang International Fireworks: Portuguese rock music competes with '007'

On the evening of June 21, the 4th competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 brought a vibrant atmosphere when music harmonized with fireworks, stirring up emotions for the audience on both sides of the Han River.

Portugal is crazy

The Portuguese fireworks team opened with a rock concert hit of "Rock You Like A Hurricane" by the rock band Scorpions, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The fireworks story begins with a vibrant rhythm, combined with music, with bursts of firecrackers, like rolling waves, rushing to sweep viewers into a "musical hurricane".

The two banks of the Han River blend into a frenzied concert of lights, electronic instruments and choirs.

Surprisingly, the Portuguese team used the song "Love Vietnam" with a series of fireworks effects depicting a beautiful picture of nature.

The next part is Mozart's symphonic excerpts pushing the climax to a climax, combined with typical firework effects such as comets, waterfalls of light, volcanic cannons... in turn painting the sky a vivid world of light, both majestic and delicate.

UK plays '007' trump card

The UK fireworks team's performance on the night of June 21 was likened to a poetic cinematic concert called "Waves of Emotion".

The opening is quiet, like a love song written in the depths of the ocean. But then the performance suddenly speeds up with a familiar cinematic soundtrack from the 007 - James Bond series, taking the audience into a world of dramatic action.

Immediately after that, the atmosphere turned cheerful and friendly with a series of Vietnamese songs such as "Forget me" (My Tam), "Noi nay co anh" (Son Tung M-TP) resounding, making the entire Vietnamese audience burst into joy and excitement. The audience not only watched but also sang along, swayed, and joined in the emotional joy.

And then, like a gentle but profound transition, the end of the performance brought the audience back to timeless songs such as Canto Della Terra, Live and let die, Dancing Queen, Future World Music...

The 5th competition night of DIFF 2025 will take place on June 28 between the Korean and Italian teams. After that, DIFF 2025 will take a 1-week break to select 2 teams to compete in the final on July 12.
