The contest has 3 rounds. Round 1 takes place from September 29 to October 3; participating schools are divided into 2 commune and ward clusters; contestants answer questions from the organizing committee online on the contest software. Round 2 is a direct competition round between 100 contestants representing commune and ward cluster 1 and 100 contestants representing commune and ward cluster 2 with excellent achievements in round 1. From there, 100 excellent contestants will be selected to enter round 3 for direct competition to choose the 5 best contestants to form a team to participate in the regional competition (including Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak , Lam Dong provinces, scheduled to take place in March 2026).
