Nearly 1 ton of chicken wings of unknown origin discovered at a business establishment in Hanoi

On the afternoon of June 12, Market Management Team No. 9, Hanoi Market Management Department coordinated with the Economic Police Team, Tay Ho District Police to inspect a food business establishment located at No. 4, Finland Water Street, Tay Ho District, Hanoi. The establishment is owned by Mr. Do Minh Tuyen (Xuan Lap Commune, Tho Xuan District, Thanh Hoa Province).

"At the time of inspection, the authorities discovered that the business was selling 975kg of chicken wings packed in 65 pineapple sacks (15kg/bag). All of the goods were contained in packaging without information about the place of production or origin of the goods. The facility also did not have documents identifying the origin of the goods, as they were goods of unknown origin. The color of the goods had changed," said Mr. Giang Van Tuan, Deputy Captain of Market Management Team No. 9.

This is one of the outstanding cases in the field of food safety in Tay Ho district that the unit discovered and handled. Market Management Team No. 9 temporarily detained all the above goods for further handling according to regulations.
