1,000-year-old Viking sword discovered in incredibly intact condition

A thousand-year-old sword with unique Viking patterns has just been found, revealing the story of the once-famous Norse warriors.

During a routine dredging operation on the Korte Linschoten River near Montfoort, Utrecht, the Netherlands, local residents were surprised to find a strange object lying in the mud.
