Approving the plan to implement the project to prevent erosion and sustainably protect Hoi An's coastline

According to the approved implementation plan, there will be a plan to implement the overall project activities, a bidding plan for each capital source, and a plan to disburse capital sources. The project does not have compensation, land acquisition, or resettlement.

The project's loan disbursement period from the French Development Agency (AFD) is from 2024 to 2027. The maximum loan disbursement period according to the signed Agreement is January 31, 2028.

The medium-term public investment plan for the 2021 - 2025 period, the provincial budget for the project is 89 billion VND.

According to the project's capital disbursement plan for 2024, the central budget allocated capital is 79.4 billion VND (including non-refundable aid capital); the provincial budget borrowed capital is more than 74.7 billion VND.

Disbursement items in 2024 include: BVTC-DT design survey, supervision consultancy advance, HP2 consultancy advance, construction and installation advance.

The provincial budget capital plan for 2024 allocated for the project is 5 billion VND.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Hoi An City to coordinate with the Provincial Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works to carry out tasks related to the site, people, businesses, and construction support conditions to meet the project implementation plan.

The project investor is the Provincial Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works, responsible for managing and effectively using ODA capital, preferential loans, and counterpart funds of the province; responsible for updating, adjusting, and approving adjustments to the implementation plan to ensure project progress and objectives. Report to the governing body and relevant units on the results of updating and adjusting the implementation plan.
