Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai visited and presented gifts to people affected by storms and floods in Hai Duong.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly visited and presented gifts to families in Dong Quang commune, Gia Loc district ( Hai Duong ) affected by storm No. 3.

Also participating in the working delegation were comrades: Bui Van Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, General Secretary, Head of the Office of the National Assembly; Trieu The Hung, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education ; Nguyen Ngoc Son, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment.

Comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province, together with leaders of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and a number of departments, branches and localities received and worked with the delegation.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai acknowledged the efforts and optimism of farmers and encouraged Hai Duong people to unite to overcome the consequences of storms and floods to soon restore production.

The National Assembly delegation led by Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai visited, encouraged and provided support to 5 families whose property was damaged by storm No. 3 in Dong Quang commune, Gia Loc district (support of 10 million VND/household and gifts). The delegation also visited Tan Minh Duc Cooperative in Pham Tran commune which suffered heavy damage due to storms and supported the cooperative with 50 million VND.

In Thanh Ha district, the delegation visited 10 families directly affected by storm No. 3 and the floods after the storm and gave each family 5 million VND and a gift.

In Lien Mac commune, Thanh Ha district (Hai Duong), Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai kindly visited and encouraged the disadvantaged people who suffered heavy losses due to storm No. 3.

Visiting and encouraging families and units affected by storm No. 3 and the floods after the storm, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai expressed his sympathy for the difficulties and losses of the people. He acknowledged the optimistic spirit and efforts of the people of Hai Duong, despite suffering many losses due to storms and floods, but always determined to overcome difficulties and actively overcome the consequences to restore production.

Encouraging people to share hardships and unite to overcome difficulties, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai noted that people need to count the damage, propose support policies, promptly overcome the impact of natural disasters, and quickly stabilize their lives.

Presenting 150 million VND to the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, 100 million VND each to Gia Loc and Thanh Ha districts to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai requested authorities at all levels to quickly direct and deploy solutions to quickly overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, and pay attention to housing support for people whose houses were damaged.

For people suffering production losses, the province needs to assign specialized agencies to research and support credit, science and technology policies... Policies under the province's authority should be urgently reviewed and promulgated according to regulations, and general policies should be proposed to the Central Government for consideration.

10 households directly affected by storm No. 3 and the floods after the storm in Thanh Ha district were visited and given gifts by Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai and the National Assembly delegation.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Hai believes that with its tradition of hard work and strong will, Hai Duong will soon restore production and people's lives after storm No. 3 and grow strongly.
