Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Giang offered flowers and incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs and gave gifts to policy families in Muong Lat district.

On the occasion of preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year 2025, on the morning of January 14, comrade Le Duc Giang, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, as head of the delegation, came to offer flowers and incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs; visit and give gifts to families with meritorious services; visit and wish a happy new year to officers and soldiers of Economic - Defense Group 5 in Muong Lat district.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Giang and members of the delegation came to offer incense and flowers to the martyrs' cemetery, Uncle Ho Memorial House and the Tay Tien Army Monument in Muong Lat district; expressing gratitude and commemorating the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and reunification.

Before the heroic martyrs, on behalf of the Party Committee, government, army and people of all ethnic groups in the province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Giang and members of the delegation vowed to unite, overcome all difficulties, successfully carry out the tasks of socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security, build an increasingly civilized and modern life, worthy of the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented Tet gifts to the family of Mr. Vi Van Sao, a 1/4 disabled veteran, in Poong village.

Next, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation visited and presented Tet gifts to the family of Mr. Vi Van Sao, a 1/4 war invalid, in Poong village; and Mr. Lo Van Ao, an Agent Orange victim, in Sang village, Quang Chieu commune.

At the places he visited, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his deep gratitude, visited and encouraged the policy families. At the same time, he hoped that the families would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition, promote the tradition of patriotism, educate and encourage their children to study and work hard, contributing to the construction of their homeland and the country. He requested the Party Committee, the government, organizations and the people of Muong Lat district to pay attention to the lives of all classes of people, especially policy families and families in difficult circumstances; organize joyful, safe, healthy and economical activities to welcome the spring.

Visiting and wishing a Happy New Year to officers and soldiers of Economic - Defense Group 5 (Military Region 4) stationed in Ten Tan commune, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Giang acknowledged and commended the achievements that the Group has achieved in 2024, especially in the task of border security, maintaining the relationship of solidarity between the army and the people, and developing the local socio-economy. At the same time, he requested that in the coming time, officers and soldiers of Economic - Defense Group 5 continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, focus on training, be ready to fight, and successfully carry out assigned tasks. In particular, focusing on close coordination with Party committees, authorities, border posts, forest rangers as well as functional forces in the stationed area to perform well the task of maintaining border security, developing the socio-economy, contributing to the development of Muong Lat district and Thanh Hoa province.
