On the afternoon of February 1, a delegation of Ho Chi Minh City led by Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong visited and extended New Year greetings to retired officials who are former State leaders, Ho Chi Minh City leaders and construction workers of key projects in the Tan Son Nhat airport area.
The delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to comrade Le Manh Ha, former member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, former Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Ngoc Son, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly .
At the places visited, comrade Bui Xuan Cuong kindly visited and encouraged the comrades and their families.
The Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee expressed his gratitude for the contributions of retired cadres to the development of Ho Chi Minh City and the country.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, the Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee wished retired cadres good health and happiness; hoped that they would continue to contribute their experiences so that the city and the country could develop, prosper and flourish.
Next, the delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to the family of comrade Phan Van Dang, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Secretary of the Central Bureau for Southern Region, former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong and delegates burned incense in memory of comrade Phan Van Dang; wishing his family good health and peace.
On the same day, the delegation also inspected the field and wished a happy new year to workers at some key projects in the Tan Son Nhat airport area (Tran Quoc Hoan connecting road, Tan Son Nhat airport). During the inspection, the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board reported and explained the project progress.
After hearing the report, the Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested relevant units to speed up progress to ensure travel for people during the Lunar New Year.
On behalf of the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, comrade Bui Xuan Cuong sent wishes of good health and a happy new year to the workers and their families.
Next, the delegation attended the launching ceremony of the emulation movement to celebrate the Spring of Giap Thin 2024, the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification at the construction project of Passenger Terminal T3 - Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
