The plan to provide professional support on preventive medicine for commune health stations has initially shown effectiveness in the first week of implementation.

On September 18, the Provincial Center for Disease Control issued Decisions assigning 10 health officials to support and perform professional work on preventive medicine at the Commune Health Stations established under Decision No. 1333/QD-UBND dated August 11, 2025 of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province. The implementation period starts from September 22, 2025.

Center for Disease Control officials instructed Trung Khanh Commune Health Station to update case reports.

According to the schedule, in the first week, officials with medical professional titles will support the Commune Health Station to update case reports, weekly reports on infectious diseases according to Circular 54/2015/TT-BYT; support the synthesis and monitoring of the epidemic situation in the locality; support event-based surveillance according to the decision. 2018/QD-BYT and make reports according to the decision ; support the Health Station to plan and ensure adequate medicine, supplies, equipment to meet the treatment and prevention of epidemics disease , and at the same time support the Health Station to investigate and verify when there is suspicion. cases

As of September 26, 9/10 Commune Health Stations including: Trung Khanh, Dam Thuy, Ha Lang, Nguyen Hue, Kim Dong, Phuc Hoa, Thong Nong, Minh Tam, Nguyen Binh have been fully supported and guided on the above contents according to schedule. In particular, Ha Quang Commune Health Station will be supported from October 1, 2025.

In addition to the above contents, officials of the Center for Disease Control have supported the Commune Health Station in professional activities such as: rebuilding plans for expanded immunization, prevention of infectious diseases, prevention of non-communicable diseases after implementing the 2-level local government; supporting patient reception, drug distribution and consultation; supporting the development of plans and implementation of expanded immunization programs, regular immunization, health check-ups for preschool and primary school students, assessing children's nutritional status; supporting the entry of electronic health records, using the software of the Population - Family Planning management information system (MIS)...

With proactive preparation through meetings to unify implementation and provide guidance on professional content beforehand, the plan to send officials to provide professional support on preventive medicine to commune health stations was quickly put into practice. After a week of implementation, this activity initially brought positive results, contributing to strengthening the capacity of preventive medicine at the grassroots level, helping the staff of commune health stations to be fully transferred with professional content and be able to proactively carry out activities after the end of support, while ensuring that the implementation is carried out synchronously and effectively throughout the area.
