Cam Duong Ward launched a mass movement to collect waste and protect the environment.

Cam Duong Ward People's Committee has just launched a movement for all people to join hands in collecting waste and protecting the environment on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2).

The movement aims to raise people's sense of responsibility in protecting the environment; encourage people to commit to keeping clean at home, in alleys, residential areas and public areas; call on people not to litter and to dispose of garbage in the right place.

People actively responded to the movement of the whole people joining hands to collect waste and protect the environment.

According to the plan, agencies, units, businesses and households will simultaneously organize environmental sanitation at their homes, workplaces, schools, streets, residential areas, canals, rivers, lakes and ponds.

Cam Duong Ward People's Committee will review and rearrange garbage collection points, public trash bins, and appropriate collection equipment in residential areas, markets, schools, and entertainment areas; discover and replicate good environmental protection models to maintain regular activities and create good habits in the community.

The peak time for the movement is from August 23 to 30, then maintained regularly on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays every week.
