On the occasion of July 27 this year, the Standing Committee of Dong Da Ward Party Committee directed the Ward People's Committee to issue and deploy a plan to organize activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day; directed the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and the Ward People's Committee to coordinate with the Front Work Committee of residential areas and residential groups to do a good job of mobilizing the construction of the Gratitude Fund; decorated 4 martyr steles; organized 3 delegations of key officials to offer incense and commemorate heroic martyrs at the steles; visited and gave gifts to encourage policy families with difficult circumstances; solemnly organized candle lighting and incense offering ceremonies to pay tribute to heroic martyrs...

Speaking at the program, Party Secretary and Chairman of Dong Da Ward People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Viet informed delegates about some outstanding activities after 25 days of the new ward government apparatus officially coming into operation. Promoting the spirit of proactiveness, creativity and innovation, the team of cadres and party members of the ward upheld their responsibilities, overcame difficulties, operated the administrative apparatus smoothly, ensured progress as required, and served the people well.

According to the Secretary of the Dong Da Ward Party Committee, in addition to urgently perfecting the organization of the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations, the ward has urgently deployed preparations for the 1st Ward Party Congress, term 2025-2030. Although the work is cumbersome, requiring high initiative, and many new and unprecedented issues arise, the ward leaders always pay special attention to ensuring social security, directing the thoughtful and timely implementation of regimes and policies for people with meritorious services in the area.

The Secretary of the Dong Da Ward Party Committee emphasized that the activities of visiting and showing gratitude to families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to the revolution not only have the meaning of encouragement, reducing the disadvantages and losses of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs, but also are a broad political activity, contributing to fostering patriotism and a sense of responsibility of each Party Committee, government, organization, individual, and people in cultivating and building civilized, affectionate, and happy residential areas and neighborhoods.

“Thank you, comrades, for sacrificing your blood and bones, fighting to defeat the invaders, protecting the fruits of the revolution. Thank you for your wholehearted support, acceptance and active companionship with the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and the young Dong Da ward organizations in the past 25 days so that the two-level local administrative apparatus can firmly overcome the initial difficulties, stabilize and be ready for development,” Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Viet expressed.
