Dong Da Ward visited and gave support to people in communes affected by floods.

On October 13, the working delegation of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da ward went to Soc Son, Da Phuc, Trung Gia and Tien Thang communes to present support and encourage people affected by floods to soon stabilize their lives.

The Dong Da Ward delegation presented 200 million VND, 2 tons of rice and bottled drinking water to 4 communes. These practical gifts demonstrate the spirit of mutual love and solidarity, helping people in disaster-stricken areas to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

In localities, Party Secretary and Chairman of Dong Da Ward People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Viet expressed his deep sympathy for the losses and damages that people in flooded communes are suffering.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Viet emphasized that, promoting the tradition of solidarity and affection of the Capital, cadres, party members and people of Dong Da ward wish to contribute part of their efforts and materials to support people in overcoming the consequences of floods; expressed confidence that, with the participation of the entire political system and the resilient spirit of the people, localities will soon stabilize their lives and gradually restore production.

The Secretary of the Dong Da Ward Party Committee added that in the coming time, Dong Da will continue to launch practical donation and support campaigns; encourage ward officials and people to actively participate in humanitarian and volunteer activities, towards disadvantaged areas.
