Online meeting to review work in the third quarter of 2025 and key tasks in the fourth quarter of 2025

Attending the meeting at the Lai Chau province bridge were comrades: Le Minh Ngan - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation in Lai Chau province (Provincial Steering Committee); Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee; comrades and members of the Provincial Steering Committee; representatives of leaders and experts of agencies: Provincial Party Committee Office, Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Science and Technology, etc.

According to the draft report of the Central Steering Committee, the contribution of science , technology, innovation and digital transformation to GDP reached over 16%, which has initially shown positive changes. Since the beginning of the year, the Central Steering Committee has assigned 1,132 specific tasks to ministries, branches and localities. To date, 485 tasks have been completed; 561 tasks are being carried out on time.

Regarding the national digital transformation, the total number of records received in the third quarter of 2025 is 12.7 million records. Providing online public services for the two-level government is in the right direction, has practical effects, and brings benefits to people, businesses and state agencies. For Lai Chau province, the implementation results by the end of the third quarter of 2025, 85 tasks have been completed. The province has issued 31 programs, plans, and documents in implementing science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation tasks. Concluding the meeting, General Secretary To Lam - Head of the Central Steering Committee acknowledged and commended the results of ministries, branches and localities in implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation. The General Secretary requested ministries, branches and localities to strongly shift their thinking from "State doing" to "State creating"; promote public-private cooperation in implementing digital infrastructure and innovation centers; remove bottlenecks to accelerate the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW; urgently build and operate substantive mechanisms to maximize social resources according to the principle "What the private sector can do but is not in the field where the State plays a leading role, create conditions and encourage the private sector to do".
